Traveling by air from California and New York, and by road from Kumasi, our biodiesel project partners descended on Accra for an intensive three-day project-planning and strategy session.
The room buzzed with ideas and opinions as we developed our shared vision of success, and identified key project risks and mitigation strategies. Next we broke into small groups to delve into the nuts and bolts of the project – developing detailed work plans and timelines for fulfilling our respective responsibilities.
With 20 months to go, our team has an ambitious but, we believe, achievable mandate: to build and operate a financially sustainable pilot-scale plant that converts fecal sludge to biodiesel. Watch this news feed for progress updates!
